This blast freezer is both robust and compact, making it suitable for use in any hotel, restaurant, canteen and cafe. It is ideal to use when you need to quickly cool or freeze meals that have already been prepared. This way, bacterial growth is minimised and the products retain their high quality and you avoid coarse crystallisation during the freezing process. The blast chiller has a capacity of 3 x 1/1 GN or 40 x 60cm Bakerynorm trays, which can be ordered separately. In addition, the blast chiller has a self-closing door with an antibacterial rubber seal. On the inside of the blast chiller, there are rounded corners so that dirt does not accumulate. The cooling system consists of a water evaporator and the coolant used is R290, which is free from CFC. In addition, the blast chiller is equipped with a core thermometer.
Easy to operate
This blast chiller has various cooling programmes for quick freezing, quick cooling and deep freezing. The operation is very user friendly – you only need to set the desired time and temperature. You can keep the products frozen inside for a long time, but it’s also possible to put food into a freezer so that you create space again for other dishes. To defrost frozen products, simply use the automatic defrost function. Food is cooled very quickly: within two hours, food can be cooled down to 10ºC and within 4,5 hours, it can cool food down to -18ºC. This blast chiller can be used optimally within a maximum ambient temperature of 32ºC.
Stainless steel construction
The casing and the interior of this professional blast chiller are made from stainless steel which makes this machine very easy to clean. It’s important to first defrost the blast chiller before cleaning it. The temperature of the blast chiller should be the same as the ambient temperature when cleaning. Then, take a damp cloth, warm water and a mild detergent and wipe everything down thoroughly. You can prevent rust on the inside by using as little water as possible. After cleaning, dry everything with a soft cloth before plugging the device back in and turning it on.
